Fall Fun in the Park

This weekend the trio hopped back on their Remember the Removal bikes and took a ride in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is a beautiful time of year to visit the park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The weather has been warm in the afternoon so we decided to take a ride while the weather was so nice. Grand ol' Time at the Canyon

What is 1 mile deep, 18 miles wide and 277 miles long??? The Grand Canyon!  Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona is a sight. I have a hard time describing it because when I look at it I just have no words! I am just amazed by its beauty. But what I can say is that I loved seeing it while it was snowing! There is just something magical about snow, but put that with the views of the Grand Canyon, and it's just overwhelmingly beautiful and bitterly cold. Since it was so cold and snowy it was easier just to drive around the South Rim of the park and get out at a few places for pictures. Some people were braving the cold and hiking, but I just was not prepared for walking around in that weather. I wish I would've remembered my Parks Passport to get stamps, but of course didn't have it. Just another reason to go back!
