In Jamaica You Don't Say Goodbye

You say "See you later, mon."
We really enjoyed our time in Jamaica. Everyone was friendly, the resort was accommodating and our weather was enjoyable. I am already trying to plan a trip to go back. I am excited to see more of the island and relax in the Jamaican sun.
Of course no beach trip would be complete without a stop by Margaritaville. So we decided to eat at the one at Montego Bay before departing this beautiful island.

If you are considering going to Jamaica, I would recommend looking into any of the Jewel properties (there are several). We enjoyed our time with them and they provide a shuttle to and from the hotel/airport. Next door to us was the RIU Ocho Rios, which is a large property and crowded. Our resort was perfect for relaxing, being away from the crowd, not having to fight for chairs by the pool and being able to sit by the bar without loud rowdy people. So I hope you consider looking in to it or any other place in Jamaica!

Gateway to the West: St. Louis

St. Louis is a beautiful place to visit in the fall. There are so many fun historical things to do in and around the city. My favorite place to visit is St. Charles, which is about 35 minutes Northwest of St. Louis. This is like a picture perfect fall town out of a movie. The cobblestone streets lined with cute local businesses and trees changing with the season are just charming. We walked along the street checking out the local shops and tried some of their local wine. I absolutely loved the warm pumpkin wine with whipped cream at Bella Vino. This was just a quintessential fall town and I absolutely fell in love with it! And of course no trip to St. Louis is complete with out a trip to the Gateway Arch!

Rocky Mountain High

Rocky Mountain National Park is beautiful! We drove through Boulder up to Estes Park to enter the park. I loved watching the scenery change from rolling hills to rocky mountain peaks. I truly enjoyed the scenic drive as we climbed in elevation up to around 12,000 feet on Trail Ridge Road. We drove for about an hour or so to Medicine Bow Curve. From there you could see snow still on the mountain peaks in the distance and the temperature dropped from 80 degrees in Boulder to about 39 degrees at our turnaround point. The mountain range was quite a sight and went as far as the eye could see. This was such a great drive, but I wish we had more time to get out and hike. I would have loved to hit the trails and see what we could accomplish on foot. Maybe next time, but until then I will be dreaming of these Rocky Mountains. So excited we made it to RMNP!
