Fall in love with Forsyth Park and Tybee

While in Savannah we decided to walk around our Airbnb neighborhood and take a ride out to Tybee Island. In the fall it can be windy and cold so bundle up and venture out!
We were there on the weekend so we were able to check out the Farmer's Market in Forsyth Park. It is on the South end of the park near a really good coffee shop. We went to the Sentient Bean for a warm drink and breakfast. After we walked across the street to walk the park and check out all the market goodies.

After exploring the park we decided to take a drive out to the beach and look around. We did not get to sit and enjoy the sun or the beach, but it was still nice to ride around and check out the lighthouse. In all the years we've been going to Tybee I have never been to the lighthouse so this was a nice surprise! Of course you can't go to Tybee without grabbing lunch at the Tybee Island Crab Shack!

After lunch we headed back to the city to shop! I found a new jacket from J.Crew and the cutest little owl purse from Kate Spade! I am obsessed with both. We also went back to Rive Street for a sweet treat from River Street Sweet Shop and to take in the sunset views from Rocks on the Roof. It was an absolute perfect time to be up there!

After all that shopping we worked up an appetite so we had dinner at The Pirates' House. I love the atmosphere of this place and I've never had a complaint on the food. My mom and I decided to share so we could try more. We got the B.L.T. Skewers with fried green tomatoes, the Harvest Seafood Platter, and a bottle of the local Black Jack Blackberry wine.

Another fun weekend in Savannah! I fall more in love with this city every time I visit!

Gateway to the West: St. Louis

St. Louis is a beautiful place to visit in the fall. There are so many fun historical things to do in and around the city. My favorite place to visit is St. Charles, which is about 35 minutes Northwest of St. Louis. This is like a picture perfect fall town out of a movie. The cobblestone streets lined with cute local businesses and trees changing with the season are just charming. We walked along the street checking out the local shops and tried some of their local wine. I absolutely loved the warm pumpkin wine with whipped cream at Bella Vino. This was just a quintessential fall town and I absolutely fell in love with it! And of course no trip to St. Louis is complete with out a trip to the Gateway Arch!

Rocky Mountain High

Rocky Mountain National Park is beautiful! We drove through Boulder up to Estes Park to enter the park. I loved watching the scenery change from rolling hills to rocky mountain peaks. I truly enjoyed the scenic drive as we climbed in elevation up to around 12,000 feet on Trail Ridge Road. We drove for about an hour or so to Medicine Bow Curve. From there you could see snow still on the mountain peaks in the distance and the temperature dropped from 80 degrees in Boulder to about 39 degrees at our turnaround point. The mountain range was quite a sight and went as far as the eye could see. This was such a great drive, but I wish we had more time to get out and hike. I would have loved to hit the trails and see what we could accomplish on foot. Maybe next time, but until then I will be dreaming of these Rocky Mountains. So excited we made it to RMNP!
